I'm currently an AFA L1 Coach, how do I become an AFA L2 Coach?

As an AFA L1 Coach you can apply to become AFA L2 Coach providing you meet the following criteria:

All AFA L1 Coach requirements remain in place (and are valid):

1) 16hr First Aid Award
2) Home Nation Membership
3) BCU L2 Coach (or approved equivalent)

In addition to the above, you are also required to:

1) Have held AFA L1 for a minimum of 12 months
2) Completed at least 2 AFA L1 courses

If you feel you meet the above requirements you can apply for AFA L2 Coach status from within the Trainer's Zone.

If you don't meet all these requirements but would still like your applicaation to be considered we recommend you email firstaid@bculifeguards.org.uk for advice.
